This tutorial was written for Xcode 3.2; it's outdated now. For a more up-to-date tutorial, check out Apple's App Development Tutorial to learn how to write iOS apps. There are also lots of other excellent books and online tutorials you can learn from.
I'll still be posting code tips and shortcuts to idev101; click here for the index. If you'd like to get updates, follow me on Twitter, or by RSS or E-mail.
I'm still in the process of writing this tutorial. The next section will show you how to create a custom class (for the wildflower objects), and how to display multiple thumbnail images that link to more info about each item. Soon we'll also cover Table Views.
If you'd like to hear when new material is posted, please follow (Twitter) or subscribe (RSS or E-mail).
Meanwhile, there are several excellent books and classes, and tons of Apple documentation you can read to help you learn more about building iPhone apps. There are also several developer forums and other blogs that I've found very helpful.
If you have an comments or feedback on this tutorial, or if there's something you'd like to see me cover in a future project, please feel free to e-mail me.
Thanks!
